About

The Competitive and Government Exams Cell of our Law College is established with the vision of guiding and supporting students who aspire to build careers in the public sector and allied legal services. The Cell is dedicated to helping out students for various prestigious competitive examinations including the Judicial Services, UPSC Civil Services (Law optional), State Public Service Commissions, Public Prosecutor Exams, UGC-NET, SET Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Exams, IBPS Law Officer, SEBI, RBI Legal Officer, CLAT-PG, and other allied services.

By fostering a culture of academic excellence, strategic preparation, and focused mentorship, the Cell aims to create an enabling environment where students can confidently pursue their public service ambitions.

Objectives

  1. To create awareness among law students about various career opportunities in the government and public sector.
  2. To guide and mentor students preparing for Judicial Services, UPSC, State PCS (Law), UGC-NET, and other competitive legal exams.
  3. To provide access to quality resources, study material, and expert lectures to assist in competitive exam preparation.
  4. To organize regular workshops and sessions on exam patterns, syllabus analysis, and preparation strategies.
  5. To build a support system for peer learning, doubt resolution, and structured preparation.
  6. To instil confidence, legal aptitude, and current affairs awareness essential for clearing high-stakes government exams.

Activities

  • Conducting orientation sessions and seminars on career opportunities in judiciary, civil services, and other public sectors.
  • Organizing guest lectures by judges, bureaucrats, legal experts, and successful alumni.
  • Running foundation courses and intensive preparation modules for Judicial Services, UGC-NET, and UPSC (Law optional).
  • Arranging mock tests, answer writing practice, and current affairs briefings on a regular basis.
  • Providing access to preparatory materials, books, judgment summaries, and online resources.
  • Maintaining a calendar of important exams, deadlines, and notifications for students’ timely reference.
