About Us

The department of Computer Engineering was established in 2009 to cater to the requirement  of trained Engineers in the field of Computers. The department is currently having a UG course in Computer Engineering, with intake capacity of 180 students. Post Graduate course in Computer Engineering (Two specializations ) has also been introduced .

Our aim is to produce competent Computer Engineers enthused with the spirit of professionalism and responsible commitment. To achieve this, we have competent, dedicated and highly motivated staff, to train our students. All our laboratories have latest computers and softwares, having student to computer ratio of 1:1, with 24 X 7 internet facility to work on the assignments in the laboratories.

Besides the regular class room teaching, we conduct special trainings in soft skills programs (personality development, communication skills, group discussions, debate, etc) which is a continuous process for development of students to facilitate better placement opportunities . The Department is known for its excellent results in academics.

Our staff is motivated to carry out research work in varied fields like: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Cloud Security, IOT, Deep Learning, Blockchain Tech., Data warehousing, Data Mining, Bigdata Analytics, Networking, Embedded Systems, Wireless Communication, Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks etc. We expect our students to take the advantage of the facilities in the department, gain knowledge and excel in their chosen career.
