About Library
Library of TAE is the most lively place in the college that enables learning & advancement of knowledge. It has methodically developed the collection of books and journals right from its inception. It is rich in collections which consist of Text books, Reference books, Journals, Technical Magazines, General books, Books for competitive exams, etc. It also subscribes to e-journals packages of Engineering disciplines from well-known international publishers to enhance & promote research activity.
The Library operations are automated using SLIM-21 Library and Information Management Software. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables library users to search the book database by Title, Author, Publication, etc. The library conducts extension services like book exhibitions and orientation programs for new users.

Advisory Committee
The library has an advisory committee which comprises of Chairman, Professor-in charge, Secretary and the Members from all departments. The duties of the committee include formulation of policies and strategies for the development of the library services and facilities.
Objectives of LAC
- To formulate action plan for the development of library infrastructure, facilities, and services.
- To give the direction to Library Modernization, Library Automation, Library Cooperation and Library timing and their day to day functions.
- To outline the Library collection and development policy as and when required, in its implementation.
- To suggest ways and means to generate revenue from Library resources.
- To plan for stock verification, weed out/ write off from the library stock.
- To recommend the management to improve the library resources and facilities as to the need.

Rules and Regulations of Library
01. Library is open from 8.30 am to 09.00 pm on college working days for books transactions and Reading room from 05.00 pm to 8.00 am.
02. Students are allowed to issue 5 books for the period of Ten days from the library by producing I-card & library card at the issue counter.
03. Each book will be issued for the period of Ten days after that they have to return it or renew it.
04. Renewal process will depend on the availability of the book on the stack.
05. Students have to pay late fine if they don’t return/renew the book in time.
06. Fine will be charged @ Rs.1/- per day for ten days & after that Rs. 10/- per day. Otherwise, student must pay cost of reference book.
07. Student can refer the book in the library during library hours by submitting I-card. They must return the book the same day, otherwise Rs. 50/- per day fine will be charged.
08. For book damage, fine will be charged @ 10% of the book cost.
09. In case of book loss, students have to replace the book of the same author and latest edition or will have to pay one and half times the cost.
10. In case of loss of I-card, students have to pay Rs.150/- for issuing a new I-card.
11. Silence shall be strictly maintained inside the library.
12. Users can convey any suggestion/complaint through the suggestion box kept in the library.

We Provide Support for Research Work
TAE Library provides research support for all researchers in the college by various ways like helping them in finding related study material from different resources. Sometimes referral and Inter Library loan facility also made available to them.
