The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Information Technology commenced from the academic year 2021-22. We offer a full-time Undergraduate ‘Bachelor of Engineering’ Course with an intake of 90. The vision of R & D Cell is to promote research activities among students and faculty as well as to provide a robust platform for sharing and implementing innovative and creative ideas to facilitate exchange of information and interaction among the various research institutes and industries to develop skilled manpower in various engineering fields.
Under the IIC Cell, the IT Department successfully conducted a Seminar on Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Trinity School on 28/01/2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, aimed at creating awareness about innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among school students and encouraging them to explore future-ready skills. The session was coordinated by Mrs. Sumaira Shaikh, with active support from Innovation Club Coordinator Mr. Shrajal Upadhayay and Innovation Club members Shravani, Shrusti, Tulsi, and Nisha. We extend our sincere thanks to Hon. Principal Sir Dr. R. J. Patil, HOD Prof. P. R. Patil Ma’am, and the enthusiastic Trinity School students for their valuable support and participation, making the outreach program a success.
As part of the MoU with Puneri Pattern Pvt. Ltd., Pune, the IT Department organized student-centric and alumni-support initiatives including an online Python internship for 20+ TE IT students, resume building sessions, and sharing of multiple job opportunities in domains such as AWS, DevOps, Data Science, Full Stack Development, UI/UX, and QA. Job support was also extended to alumni, strengthening industry and alumni engagement.
An NSS Special Camp was on 27th January 2026 for a duration of seven days at Kodit Taluka Purandar, where the camp resided at Zilla Parishad School, Kodit. Students actively participated in various social service and awareness activities under the NSS scheme.
A workshop on “Road Map to a Full Stack Development Technology Stack and Career Insight” was conducted on 27th January, 2026 for Second Year IT students to provide industry exposure and practical understanding of modern application development. The session was delivered by Mr. Kiran Datar, Senior Consultant at Tata Communications, and Mr. Hrushikesh Shinde, Cloud Architect at Broadcom.
The Department of Information Technology, TAE celebrated Jijamata Jayanti on 12th January, 2026 to honor Rajmata Jijabai and her contribution to nation-building through values, leadership, and moral strength. The program was coordinated by Mrs. S. A. Joshi under the guidance of HOD IT, Mrs. Pratima Patil, with the support of Principal Dr. R. J. Patil. SE IT students Nisha Nale (Div A) and Adesh Bhamare (Div B) delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing Jijamata’s role in shaping leadership, discipline, and values.

Information Technology Student Association (ITSA) is a student-driven professional body formed to enhance the technical, academic, and interpersonal skills of Information Technology students. It serves as a platform to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements by organizing technical workshops, expert lectures, hands-on training sessions, coding competitions, seminars, industrial visits, and certification-oriented programs. ITSA also encourages innovation, research awareness, leadership development, teamwork, and ethical practices among students. Through various curricular and co-curricular activities, the association aims to nurture industry-ready professionals, promote continuous learning, and create a collaborative environment that supports overall personality development of IT students.
The Mental Health Day event featured a meaningful poster presentation organized by the IT Students Association 10th October 2025. The poster highlighted common causes and solutions for mental health issues, with a focus on encouraging the mindset that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Mr. Anandkumar Rao Sir addressed the attendees in the presence of the entire IT faculty, underscoring the importance of mental well-being.
On the occasion of Engineers' Day, celebrated on 15th September 2025, Trinity Academy of Engineering organized a grand and vibrant event under the banner of the IT Student Association (ITSA). The highlight of the celebration was a unique fair, popularly known as 'Mela', where different clubs under ITSA showcased their creativity, skills, and technical knowledge.
On 4th September 2025, Trinity Academy of Engineering joyfully celebrated Teachers' Day to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our beloved teachers. The celebration was marked with enthusiasm, respect, and heartfelt gratitude from students across all departments.
The Department of Information Technology proudly inaugurated its very own Information Technology Students’ Association (ITSA) on 13th August 2025 with immense enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students and faculty alike. The program commenced on a high note with the gracious presence of our respected Head of Department, Mrs. Pratima Patil, who honoured the occasion as the chief guest for the inauguration and Mr. Anandkumar Rao (ITSA Co-ordinator). Her warm presence and inspiring words added immense value to the event.
On 24th April 2025, the farewell celebration began with a warm address by Principal Rupesh J. Patil, who appreciated the academic achievements and contributions of the graduating batch. He encouraged the students to stay focused, uphold values, and continuously strive for excellence in their professional and personal lives. His words resonated deeply, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
ITSA organizes Computer Day Celebration on 14th February 2025 for all students of the IT department. The celebration commenced with an enlightening address by Principal Dr. Rupesh J. Patil, who emphasized the pivotal role of computer science in shaping the modern world, inspiring both students and teachers to embrace innovation and strive for excellence in the field of computing. A quiz competition was conducted, testing students’ knowledge in various domains of computer science, including programming, networking, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
ITSA organizes a sessions on Stress Handling in Youths and Code of Ethics & Values on throughout the semester. This interactive session introduced students to the importance of ethics and values in the IT industry, covering key principles of ethical conduct, professional responsibilities, and real-world case studies, helping students develop critical thinking for responsible decision-making in their careers.
ITSA organizes an Introductory Event on Open-Source Contribution featuring a hands-on tutorial on Git and GitHub on 13th September 2024. This session aimed to help students understand GitHub’s role in version control and collaboration.
The Orientation of the Information Technology Students’ Association (ITSA) took place on 8th August 2024, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the IT department. The event featured speeches from the HOD, Principal, and key members of ITSA, outlining exciting initiatives and opportunities for the year ahead.
