About the Department
The Department of Civil Engineering in Trinity Academy of Engineering has been constantly contributing to the cause of engineering and training right since its inception in the year 2010. The department has highly qualified faculty supported by excellent laboratories and state of art computing facilities. The department owns an impressive library with several rare and highly referred treatises on the subject of civil engineering. The faculty members have published significant number of research papers in international and national journals and the proceedings of

various international and national seminars, conferences, symposia and workshops. The department has organized several guest lectures and workshops so far to develop and hone the technical skills of the students. The department also conducts specialist trainings in state of the art computing facilities to keep the students abreast with the latest developments in the field. To further progress the cause of employability and adaptability of the pupils in the professional walk of life, a consultancy cell has also been constituted and is now functional. In this consultancy cell, the students along with teachers get a hands-on experience of the practical outreach of the field.
The Department of Civil Engineering is committed to develop a vibrant and broad-based graduate and post graduate program with emphasis on up to date curriculum, quality faculty and staff, field and industrial training to prepare engineers with state of the art knowledge for professional practice guided by strong conviction towards morality and ethics.

- Have successful career in the diversified sectors of the engineering industry and/or higher studies by acquiring knowledge in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals.

The research lab has been well established with extreme care and planning. There are around 25 computers of configurations Intel (R) Core (TM)2 at 3.0 GHz and 4Gb RAM each. Power supply has been fully backed up by UPS. Computers in computer labs are typically equipped with internet access at 10 Mb/s through Leased Line connection., while scanners and printers may augment the lab setup.
